front tripod

Good Evening,

Do you guys use a front tripod for stabilization? If so can you recommend one?

I have the same as this one and the only thing I can say negative about it is it hard to set up and get all 3 legs even support. I think I have it and I tap all to make sure they are tight and a lot of times 2 are and the 3rd is loose. The one I had prior to this one was the older 2 leg stabilizer the had the old school car type jack on it to tighten up the support and I liked it better (easier to set up) but I haven't seen one in a while.

I went with the JT Strongams on my first unit then the Plug it Rights on this unit. Reason I changed was that the T bolts broke on a few of the JT's so I tried another brand. They take a lot of the wiggle out, no storage issue, no blocking to carry for under the legs either.

It's a little more investment, but it takes literally 1 extra minute to set up.

Just something else to consider.

I use one, although I'm not sure I've ever noticed a difference. No idea what brand. Whatever the local RV place was selling.

I went with the SteadyFast Stabilizer System

Took all the wiggle out and no carrying or setup of a tripod.

I've got one, not sure of the brand, but I'm like MTDAWG, when I use it, I don't seem to notice any difference.
