If I am not mistaken isn't that pump under the sink inside? Are you sure it froze and not a feed line from outside? The underbelly are not greatly insulated, just the corrugate plastic sheathing and spray foam for the holes are what does most of the insulating.

I just bought this and am still learning about it. That could be too. The service tech wasnt very helpful when we picked it up as to what we needed to do when it snowed. He just said we'd be fine.....so frustrating! We told him we were living in it. We are just using the tanks and not hooked up to "city water" so im not really sure what the deal is.

frozen water pump.... help?

I bet it just went out and not frozen. Mine did that last winter when using it alot. Mine turned out to be the pressure switch. I cleaned it and sprayed some electrical contact cleaner in it and it started working. Check for power to the pump you will have a power and ground. The power will go into the front of the pump to the pressure switch then out to the actual motor sling with the ground. Hope this helps

Here is small check list.

1. Water pump switch on?
2. If you have a service center are the valves in the correct directions?
3. Water pump valves located at pump (if equipped) are in the correct direction and off winterized mode?
4. Check the fuse panel for a blown fuse.
5. Is the pump making noise at all?

My friend has that model and his pump was under the kitchen sink located in the cabinet right next to the entrance. Start there.

No heater switch. Only uses the ducted heat through the floor to heat the tanks. You should check the fittings for leaks causing air to enter the lines.

I hope you figure this out and it's minor...please keep us updated on your findings. I also will be winter camping in the snow this winter. Whats the current outside temperature where you are right now?

Could you be out of water or very low? The leaks I am referring to would be on the non pressure side of the pump, the draw. Sometimes during travel or excessive use the fittings could rattle loose and the pump can draw air which will not allow proper suction to get the water into the pumping system. In other words you lost your prime. The other problem could be the line between the tank and pump froze.

Good luck and Welcome.

Could it be that your fresh water tank is empty? I'm assuming that you are not hooked up to city water if you are using the pump.

The one thing that seems crazy but is essential, is to turn OFF any additional heat!!! You need all of your heat to be coming from your furnace.. That's the only way that the tanks and lines get any heat. The colder it is, the more you need to run the main furnace. Additional heat sources can be used when the temps are more moderate.
