Full time winter protection

So living full time in Las Vegas in my Pinnacle. This thought came to me. We do get below freezing at times even in Vegas. We even get SNOW! So the question is how do you go about 'winterizing' the out side water hose and slinky? Gray water tank is left open all the time and wondered if that would freeze up? Ideas? Pics? Do I really need to worry about this?

They have heated fresh water hoses. Keep gray water closed till full. Best to empty half to full so dirt and such doesn't build up in the tanks. Use the furnace for heat as that heats the basement/docking station and the underbelly. Drain fresh water tank if not needed.

When I was taking my rig to ski resorts, I would use electric heat tape when needed. Comes right up on amazon. I would wrap the outside valves, hose connection etc. in really cold areas, I had the heat tape installed on some of the pipes inside. When I started up the generator in the morning, it would take just a half hour or so to thaw everything that the furnace couldn’t keep thawed.

If the temps get below freezing just on occasion, use some plain ole grey pipe insulation on the FW hose and around the spigot, connections, etc.. Leave a cabinet door open overnight or a faucet dripping overnight as well.

I made a heated water hose with some foam pipe wrap and heat tape. Worked fantastic last winter and it got down to 9 degrees. I also carry a harbor freight heat gun in case the parks water spigot freezes.
