Fully understanding Nautilus 2.5 controls

Okay folks, I outta know everything about this and I don't. There are four examples of how to position the handles shown, and I'll number them as follows:
1. Sanitize
2. Tank Fill
3. Dry Camp
4. Winterize
5. City Water

#5 is when I'm at a campsite and use inlet 'B' plugged into their water... this is the only one I truly understand.

If I have a jug of bleach and I want to sanitize it, I would select #1 and use a hose into inlet 'A' and turn on the water pump to begin (should I bypass water heater).

If I have a jug of antifreeze and I want to winterize it, I would select #4 and use a hose into inlet 'A' and turn on the water pump to begin (and bypass water heater) Should I switch to #3 when it's done?

If I have a jug of water and want to load it into the fresh water tank, would I select #2 and use the same inlet 'A' ? Should I switch to #3 when it's done?

If I want to fill up my fresh water tank from a garden hose, and then use the water pump once I'm camped.. is that when I use #3 and inlet 'B' ?

Is there any special setting when I want to use the black tank flush inlet 'C' ?

I've been thinking more... now I need to confirm. If I want to fill the fresh water from a water hose, I use inlet 'A' and handle position #2. I don't think I should leave it that way though because once I turn on the water pump it will try to suck from 'A' instead of pushing through the lines.... so what I need to do is switch from #2 to #3 once the tank is full. Does that sound correct?

WOW. There is a whole lot of information I needed to know in that user's guide.
Thanks!

Each Option is Explained

1. Power fill your fresh water tank for remote or dry camping
Handles position "Tank Fill" - Hose into Right Inlet, begin:'Don't overfill'
Handles position "Dry Camp" - Turn on Water Pump when needed

2. Use your pump to supply water to fixtures from fresh water tank
Handles position "Dry Camp" - Turn on Water Pump when needed

3. Use your pump to sanitize your fresh water tank from a bucket
Handles position "Sanitize" - Hose into Left Inlet

4. Use your pump to siphon fill your fresh water tank from a bucket
Handles position "Sanitize" - Hose into Left Inlet
Handles position "Dry Camp" - Turn on Water Pump when needed

5. Connect to city water at the camping site to supply water to fixtures
Handles position "City Water" - Hose into Right Inlet

6. Winterize your plumbing lines and fixtures
Handles position "Tank Fill"
Open low point drains, drain plug on water heater
Turn handles to 45 degree angles
Air Pressure Hose to Right Inlet (40 PSI max)
Close drains and hot water tank & low point drains
Handles position to "Winterize" - Set water heater to BYPASS
Hose from AntiFreeze into Left Inlet - Turn on Water Pump
Open each plumbing fixture until solution appears then close
Turn off Water Pump

7. Rinse black tank to help control odors and prevent sewage buildup
Connect sewer hose and Open Black Tank Value
Handles to "Dry Camp"

Our local rv dealer

We love our camper. The rv dealership where we purchased it is Pete's RV (near Boston) and I have only the best comments for them and their customer support.

Excellent! We purchase from Forrest RV, who were great, but they were bought out by Campers Inn, can't stand them! Glad you are having good luck with Pete's.

Now I'm looking for someone in the area to install a Hydrastar Disk break kit I purchased, hard to find around here. Will DYI if I have too, but would rather not.

Good luck and Happy Camping!

These folks do disk brake install for performancetrailerbraking.com/disc-brakes . They will come to our farm at the end of the month, they travel the country I think doing this and come to your location. I am pretty sure they are independent contractors, and you may want to contact them if you are interested. I do not know if they do other work outside of this company. We bought our brakes back in June, and they are just getting to us.

You are welcome, and I did confirm with them, they will do all types of independent work and not just this one company. Our brakes are installed and they did a wonderful job. They worked as a well oiled machine.

Interesting water panel. Our older 5th has a different (yet similar) setup. Quickly scanning the user manual I didn’t catch a discussion on WH bypass which is important for winterizing/sanitizing. Now curious and thanks to “Fyre’s” post I searched and found this: https://www.recpro.com/content/Nauti...tion-Rev-1.pdf
It’s the install manual and details how it’s hooked up. The Nautilus only controls the fresh cold side, WH connection and bypass is another topic.
It’s a nice looking panel!

Hi All, I know this is an old thread but maybe someone can help?

This is the exact station I have....when connected to city water I am getting water leaking out of the Sanitize/Winterize side. My fresh tank only has 1/3 water in it.

Does anybody know how to fix this??

We have special forum search tool available. I used that tool to find a similar post you should read. After you read that one, use the search tool and search for the below text (include the quotes):
"Winterize/Sanitize" leak

Hopefully you'll find some help there. Please let us know what was the solution.

Franken Nautilus Hose Control

It began as a simple desire to put a quick disconnect on my water hose and it turned into a Frankensteinish Project.

I needed my pressure regulator, I then thought... hey, why not add a splitter value so I could channel it into the black tank flush with an inline gallon monitor. Below you can see the quick disconnect hanging below the bottom of the camper, so I don't really need to open the door except to check the pressure.

I think it's marvelous and isn't it beautiful?
