Going through the same issue. There should have been a sheet of paper in your manuals and such dealing with the Furrion Camera Prep on your trailer. Basically they run an extra wire (orange) from the rear camera location up to behind the wall light switch in the bedroom. You are supposed to change the + lead under the camera housing to this new orange wire and then add a second switch in the bedroom wall connecting the orange wire to a battery source (easiest would be the light switch + beside it). They only address the rear camera and don't mention the side marker cameras that my Eagle HT 28.5 RSTS has. I ordered the 7" display with the rear and side marker cameras and am trying to figure out the best way to wire the side marker cameras as well. I would rather not have to remember to flip the switch every time I hook/unhook the tow vehicle. I'm thinking of using a few SPDT relays that will automatically sense the voltage on the truck running lights when hooked up to the tow vehicle and switch power source to that and otherwise use battery voltage. I don't think you can just connect both the current + and orange wire both to the camera as you would back feed voltage to the tow vehicle if you didn't flip the switch off.

I ended up wiring up a new switch and using the orange wire. Works perfect but as you said need to remember to turn the switch on
