Furious TV Mystery

We have a 2016 Pinnacle RSQS. While the tv is down in the cabinet, turned off...it will turn on if I play a cd?? The screen says that the cd is playing and shows which track is playing. Obviously we do not want this to happen since we have to bring the TV up to turn it off and then it will happen all over again when we change cd's. Are there wires crossed somewhere??

kingfish sez something strange going on! Is this a new occurrence, did it ever work correctly?

Do they share a remote or something like that. Mine are different remotes.

This is normal the Furrion TV and the Furrion CD/DVD player (assuming you are talking about this pair) are linked together and it is a "feature" to automatically turn on the TV and change the input on the TV when a disc is inserted. It can't tell the difference between a CD or DVD when doing this so either one will turn the TV on.

Yes.. Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the 'link' feature?

I don't have the exact setup, but in general your looking for a feature relating to smart HDMI on in the setup menu on your TV. It's recognizing that a connected HDMI device is turning on. I believe it is enabled by default on the furion sets as mine does it when I turn on my DirectTV box as well (which is fine in my case)

Edit: It looks like these functions are under the CEC setup menu on the TV
