Furious with my Furrion Receiver

We went out for our first trip this season and found our Furrion Receiver did not play dvd's or cd's and I have no audio on Zone 1 or 2 but have it on Zone 3 outside. This is the second time we have had trouble with this receiver. Should we ditch it for something else? We are researching satellites and may just need to switch out the Furrion. While I do not like having to spend additional money, I want it to work. Any recommendations?

They are not the best, but also not the worst. I think a lot has to do with the installation. I would bet anything that the way they are wired has a lot to do with it. With the irregularities from owners, I would say that it depends on the technician that is doing the wiring any given day..............sad!

You don't mention if the rig is in warranty.

I would be checking all the speaker connections in back of the radio.

Mine is not a Furrion but the rats nest of wires and connections likely looks the same. I ended up having to tape a few that kept coming loose on the road.

My receiver and 2 speakers are being replaced due to a high pitched humming and blown speakers.

fourbchbms, I'm have a similar issue with my receiver. I don't know if it will play CD's or DVD's. They get in two thirds of the way and it spits them back out. It's gonna wear me out long before it wears out Christmas Vacation.
