furnace issues
I am having trouble with everything that runs off propane. Changed tanks, tried tripping breakers still not working. Is there any other breaker panels in a 97 designer 5th wheel?

Other than suggest that you use the 'search' feature for this site, there is nothing I can really offer to help.
It may help others help you if you can tell us...
Does "having trouble with everything that runs off propane." mean that none of your propane appliances are working at all? (Furnace, stove, water heater)
You said you "changed (propane) tanks"... Does that mean you switched the system from an empty tank to a full one? Is that when things stopped working or did you change tanks after things stopped working?

furnace/refrigerator
We switched tanks after the issue, the furnace has been making a noise while running then blowing cold air. Turned it off then back on & it was fine then shut off completely as well as the refrigerator & hot water heater.

This may not be your problem, but several years ago I had the same problem with our 242. Couldn't get any propane to flow. Thought it was the regulator that wasn't letting gas through. I took the whole regulator assembly to the dealer, he checked it and showed me that it worked. He also told me that when I open the valve on the tank I should open it very slowly rather than crank it wide open all at once. He said that it was somethng in the tank valve that if it sensed a sudden rush of gas, it would shut off. Something like a slam valve they use on some hydraulic systems. Anyway, I have done it that way since and have had no problems. Don't know if he was right or not, but it worked.

But it was running just fine then all of a sudden shut off song with the fridge & water heater won't ignite. Before it just tripped the breaker but that's not the issue.

Close the tanks.. wait a few min then reopen them S-L-O-W-L-Y. Sometimes opening them too fast will cause the OPD to shut the tanks off. If you have it on your regulator check to see that there is green showing on the top of it.. Since nothing works It has to be either the regulator or the OPD.. Oh and make sure the tank selector is aimed at one of the tanks.. if it is in the up position neither tank may work..

Looks like a trip to the dealer for a diagnosis may be in order. There might be too many variables for anyone on the forum to help IMHO.

Before it just tripped the breaker but that's not the issue.
I don't understand this? How would a problem with propane delivery have anything to do with tripping breakers?

===I am speculating that this noise has something to do with the issue of the breaker tripping. Does not, however, explain why none of the propane appliances are working.
Pardon me for asking, but are you absolutely sure the propane tanks are not empty? The odds of all propane appliances failing at the same time I would think are pretty remote. As mentioned before, I had the same problem years ago getting flow through the regulated/tank valve.
Does your water heater have electric ignition or do you have to manually light the pilot? On our fridg, if it fails to light on propane after about a minute of trying, it locks out until you turn it off and back on again, then it will try another cycle. When a propane line gets air in it, it sometimes takes quite awhile to get the air through the tiny pilot orfice.
By all means, keep us posted on what you find. It's really got our interest (at least mine) as to what is going on.

If it is not the OPD then it has to be the regulator.. I will assume you have made sure the lines are screwed in tight and there is propane in the tanks..

The propane stove should not need electrical to work the burners. If the stove burners will not light, you definitely have a propane supply problem. Sounds to me like you have more than one problem complicating matters. I opt for the dealer to check it out.

There are other possible scenarios..spent last winter on our fiver trying to figure them out.
1) Manifold issue: not going to get at that by yourself (dealer)
2) Bad regulator: only one way to prove that really and that is get a new one and see if that fixes it.
3) Collapsed main LP line: It can happen and as it turns out, that is what happened to us. Everything worked one weekend, came back the next and only the stove worked. The furnace would not ignite.
Best of luck and sorry I cannot provide a solution other than tearing the entire system down.
