Furnace location

I have a 2018 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel 37' long. Can anybody tell me where Jayco hid the furnace for this model??

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State! Take a look around outside for the furnace exhaust port. That'll give you the location of the furnace. You can roughly measure to it, from the front or rear of the camper, then go inside, and use that measurement to locate where the furnace is mounted. Ours is not the same model, but it's under the couch, inside a plywood box.

It would help if we knew what exact model you have. They aren't all the same. You should be able to find the heater behind a large louvered panel some other sizable opening for an air return. Usually near floor level, often in the kitchen area. As mentioned, look for the exhaust and intake on the outside, it is chrome and will be approximately 4" W X 6" H and will have two round openings.

The furnace in our 5th is behind the removable wall in the basement on the driver’s side. As suggested, look tor the furnace exhaust on the outside, the furnace will be on the other side of that exterior wall. They are notoriously difficult to access.

Yep, did all the obvious stuff and measuring over from the slide to the exhaust port puts it behind the shower head. Would have to remove the toilet to access the area. Surly they would not have put it there would they.

I would expect it to be lower than the shower head. Are you sure you located the furnace vent and not the stove hood vent. My furnace vent is metal and the hood vent is rectangular and plastic.
On our 5th the furnace is at the floor level of the basement and is roughly next to the water cabinet.

I should have said behind shower on the shower head side, not at the shower head height. And yes, I was looking at the furnace exhaust. I will look at the model number when I get back to the RV park. Thanks for all the responses!

There should be a large cold air return Grille (and not the one(s) in the ceiling) somewhere inside the trailer. When you find it, the furnace should be somewhere behind it. Ours is located under the refrigerator door.

Same place ours is, 321RLTS, puts it underneath shower area and the return vent is built into step risers.

Most "5th wheel" furnaces can be accessed through a removable (screws) wall panel within the basement storage area....., although once the panel is removed getting to the furnace can be a challenge on some models due to duct work, plumbing, etc..

If you look between your outside 50amp shore power connection and the HWH access panel you will see a chrome exhaust vent, the furnace is directly behind this vent.

Depending on the model of furnace, it can be accessed from an outside wall removable panel....., unfortunately your 2020 Eagle 319MLOK doesn't have this outside access panel.

In some cases a furnace may be located/accessed under furniture, cabinets, etc..
