Furnace question

on my 2017 north point 5th, no access to furnace from outside, how do you get to furnace from inside?? getting ready to open for season and would like to check things and what should i look for?? thanks!!

You have to access it thru the basement storage and remove the one wall. Only a few screws.

Should be a panel on the wall that allows you to look at and touch the furnace. On my Pinnacle, it gives me enough access to make sure the heat ducts are secure. Beyond that (removal) removing the wall is necessary.

Here's a picture of our NP with the wall off. You'll see a lot of posts regarding the furnace reset switch that is on top of the unit. I rewired mine so it now sits inside the basement door so I can access it without removing the wall and crawling in there.

Check for any debris buildup around the blower motor louvers on the furnace's metal enclosure.

Also check that the furnace's cold air return vent is unrestricted. Many 5th wheel's cold air return vent is located in the interior steps and some vents may have a filter.
