Furrion fireplace

The red led on my fireplace started flashing yesterday and the blower shut off, book says proximity sensor is tripped causing it to shut off the blower. There is nothing in front of the unit, I can clearly see the sensors to the left of the heating coil and there are no obstructions. Has anyone else experienced this? I have searched for a replacement for the sensor but no luck. We don't use it often but it's nice at 5am when I'm in the recliner sipping coffee and it's a little chilly in the camper but don't want to run the heat.

It happened to our North Point when it was new. I would flip the circuit breaker off and on and it would work for about 3 minutes. The dealer had to replace the entire fireplace. No problems with the one in our Pinnacle.

I just removed the fireplace with the 4 screws, then I unscrewed all of the dozen or more screws on the fireplace housing to gain access to the proximity sensor that located at the very top of the fireplace, then simply unplugged it. I resembled the housing and remounted it back in wall. Just keep in mind to be mindful of objects in front of the fireplace and not have anything to close. This whole process took roughly 15-20 minutes to complete.
