Unhappy Furrion Fireplace quit

I have a 2018 Pinnacle and all of a sudden my Furrion fireplace won't turn on with either the remote or switch on the unit. Any ideas on what may be wrong or how to check it? How do I take it apart? I'm starting to regret buying this thing. Thanks!

It's on a separate breaker, did you check that?

It could be the fuse has blown. Just a thought.
Should be a trim piece around the face os the unit, remove that should allow access to screws, of course remove and unit should slide out. Fuse should be around control panel. Not 100% sure about your Pinnacle though. Hope it helps.

Is there a different breaker for it other than in the breaker box? Do you know if there is a reset button?

I don't believe there is a reset button. Did you try flipping the breaker back and forth?

Are you still under warranty?

Unfortunately, no. I must say, I am not impressed with how cheaply this 5th wheel is constructed for the price!

Did you purchase it new? Other than the fireplace, have you had any other major issues? It's hard to judge the overall quality by just one of it's components. When we had our North Point the Furrion fireplace went bad just after a few weeks, however it was covered under the warranty.

Have checked that your Furrion fireplace is still plugged in?

This isn't the only thing we've had issues with. There have been several, and a couple larger, costly items. The RV has hardly been used! If you look closely you can see where they cut corners and things are cheap. I'm sure this isn't the only brand with issues, but it is maddening!

Need to try to get it apart to check where it's even plugged in, but yes, I was wondering that as well. Ok....found the outlet is not working...

My 2016 34FKDS has a receptacle in the cabinet on the side of the fireplace.

Sometime it takes a while to get to the root of the problem. Sounds like an easy fix. Glad you tracked it down!

Sometimes the wire "pops" out of the fingers since RV outlets don't use screws, also check the screws in the breaker panel.

Is the fireplace used for heating? If so, It probably is not just an "outlet" The fireplace draws considerable voltage and MOST outlets are 15 or 20 amp. Unless there is a dedicated outlet for the fireplace and it would most likely be a larger three or four prong outlet.

The typical Furrion RV Fireplace, is wired to a dedicated breaker and simplex receptacle.

Typical specs are

Voltage: 120V AC at 60 Hz
Wattage: 1,500 watts
Amperage: 12 amps

I had the same issue with my Furrion fireplace in 2019 36fbts. I took the fireplace out of the cabinet and plugged it in an outlet in my home garage to confirm it was the fireplace that wasn't working. I also tested the plug where it was plugged in (in the camper) and that tested fine. Warranty replaced mine, which took 3 months to order and receive (due to the holidays).

For those who are handy at taking things apart... Our Fireplace/Heater(FP) quit last year. The heating unit is a replaceable module that is installed in the Fireplace. I took our FP out and found the correct replacement number for the heater, Amazon had it on the doorstep in two days and it was put back the next. Ours was out of warranty, but that heater is a necessity in cold weather. I think the part was just under $100.
