Is that from a spec chart on their website or sales brochure, or is that from the sticker in your door jamb?

Don't Make The Same Mistake I Made

I purchased a 2015 F150 with the idea of pulling a Jayco 27.5RLTS. Like you ? I used the payload advertised at the ford site (2150). But when I looked at the actual allowable payload ( as stated on the sticker (Driver's door) was 1880) The 2150 sticker is the weight of a stripped down truck- no spare tire- no radio- ETC. Our 5er has the revolution pin box and we don't have a silder hitch which saved on hitch weight. The bare weight we added (DW,Me, hitch weight) exceeded 600 lbs. Now we are down to 1200 to 1300 of available payload. Our 5er pin weight is over 1800 lbs. loaded (Cat Scale) Traded it for a 2500 HD gas.

By the way we have a factory installed trailer hitch on our 5er. We will purchasing a hitch mount cargo carrier to carry our (2) Yamaha 2000 Inverter Generators.

Thank you sir, awesome choice.

Even though my toy hauler has a big onan generator, in cooler weather when not using the AC's I use my Honda 2000 to run lights, fans, TV's and refrigerator. The Honda runs all night on less than a gallon where the onan uses at least 5 gallons. Not to mention the Honda is way quieter. Several companies offer tri, dual or propane only kits for the Honda 2000.
