Just enjoying the beautiful weather on Lake Blackshear in Cordele, GA. What beautiful weather we are having. Was down in the high 20's a couple days ago but lows in the 50's now and highs in the low 70's. Just beautiful. They are starting to lower the lake level which happens every other year. Crappie are in the deep holes and biting good! Wish you all were here.

We have camped there a few times. Lucked out and got a waterfront lot. You have to time your arrival cause they don't reserve specific sites in Ga. SP's.

You are right about the reservations. It helps to only live 20 miles away so we drive out and if a spot we want is open, we reserved it right then and go home and bring out the unit. It is even going to get worse as they are privately managed now and are running a snow bird special. Locals can only reserve for two weeks and then you have to move. The snow birds can reserve a spot for 30 days or more at reduced rates so they will be tying up the waterfront lots as there are a couple in here now. Oh well,,,,,,,
