Getting level, 28.5 Eagle HT rsts

I am about 6 inches high in the front. Pulling with F350 dually long bed and trailer equipped with 15 inch tires. Concerned about stress on rear axle and running the fridge off level. !) Should I be concerned? 2) Who has fixes this?
Can lower the hitch one notch but right at 6 inches clearance now. Thinking just going to 16 inch tires would be the simple solution. Appreciate any help.

Look at your trailer spring hangers... Do you have another set of holes to drop axle and springs further away from frame?
If you can that will get you closer
I would still go to 16 inch rims and tires just for the available tire options going forward.

28.5

We have the same 28.5 RSTS, and it rides high. We do have the 16" wheels, and the springs came from the factory set at the highest setting.

From my calculations a while ago, the 16" setup actually adds 2" to height- the 1/2' you get from the bigger wheel, plus the tires themselves are taller than the 15's.

But you'll still ride high unless you do something to jack up the suspension. Too much money for me. There are no apparent tire wear or heat issues with it riding high, I just don't like the way it looks.

And- I wouldn't give up any of your space above the bedrails, mine comes close to hitting sometimes at 6".

And they always say you can never have too much truck.

I had an HT. Pulled it thousands of miles nose high. Never had any issues aside from my own OCD in regard to the aesthetics of it. I did keep it at the minimum 6” of bed clearance, and had the hangers in the lower holes. I never invested in new wheels/tires.

Could add 40-50 sand bags to the bed. That ought to level it out nicely. As an added bonus you’re prepared for any flooding you may encounter on your travels.

I have spent a lot of time making my TV and 5th wheel level. I have dropped the camper to the lowest hole in the spring hanger (+1"). I added a Lippert Correct Track system (+2-1/4"). I added 16" tires from my 15" stock ones (+1.5"). I changed my Rear TV shackles and dropped the back of the Truck (1"+).

I have my hitch about at the top of travel (one more inch to go if needed) and I have 6" around the whole bed for clearance and the trailer rides level. It would have all be way easier if Jayco would design these trailers to be pulled with Modern Trucks that are all jacked up in the air.
