We have the same 28.5 RSTS, and it rides high. We do have the 16" wheels, and the springs came from the factory set at the highest setting.
From my calculations a while ago, the 16" setup actually adds 2" to height- the 1/2' you get from the bigger wheel, plus the tires themselves are taller than the 15's.
But you'll still ride high unless you do something to jack up the suspension. Too much money for me. There are no apparent tire wear or heat issues with it riding high, I just don't like the way it looks.
