No problem....
IF you look closely it is mounted upside down. Being upside down the voltage will drop and the polarity will be reversed. The neutrons will be out of phase. Your $500 MPPT SOLAR charge controller may have an option to compensate for the issue.
Easy fix I am sure

I'd like to add, that wire doesn't look near heavy enough to transfer the massive amount of voltage that beast must deliver

Do you think I may have put too much SOLAR on my RV? I like to have all the conveniences of home when I travel....
