Goodyear Endurance tires

We pick up our new 2020 Pinnacle 36 FBTS this coming Thursday. I noticed that it comes with Goodyear Endurance tires Load E rated at 4050 lbs. each and the GVWR on this fifth wheel is 16,500 or close to it. I noticed that the two other fifth wheels we were looking at (Solitude and Cedar Creek) both come with G rated tires. Should I be concerned with this. I put on the Goodyear G614’s on the Columbus that we are trading in and they have been great. I guess I would like to hear from anyone that has these tires with this heavy Pinnacle and if they’ve had any problems. I’ve had 3 different blowouts in the past and am a little concerned. Thanks.

We have 10,000 on our Goodyear tires. No problem.

If you look at the actual weight capacity of the ENDURANCE "E" it is higher than the G614

An Endurance 235 80 R16 is rated for 1720 at 25PSI a 235 85 R 16 is 1830 at 25 psi

A G614 is only rated at 1700 at 35PSI

Also remember you will have around 25% of the weight on your truck. So you would probably have around 12000lbs +cargo on those tires.

Endurance is a great tire and when it comes time to replace mine I plan on putting on the same tire. They hold perfectly. I've not had the need to add air since I took delivery on April 9th of this year.

Thanks for the info everyone. I will keep these tires then for a couple of years and hope for the best. Thanks. I have a little more peace of mind now.

I really like the Endurance tires. I put thousands on a set I had installed on my previous HT fifth wheel and now I’ve got them on my Eagle as well. Had one flat from sharp rocks in a Yellowstone construction site. I don’t fault the tire.

The nice thing about the Endurance tires is the N speed rating (87MPH). Most other trailer tires are rated at 65 or 75. Not saying i tow that fast but just shows how robust these tires are designed

8300 on mine, no issues. Wearing great. Very promising new US made tire to the market. I wouldn't be afraid to buy them. I never got this good of wear and mileage out of the china bombs I had. Not even close.

I bought my 2017 used at one year old. I also have over 8000 miles on and will be putting another 2000 on the end of this month. They look like there wearing fine but getting thinner. I will probably replace them this winter with the same tire so I know where I'm at mileage wise.

Goodyear Endurance tires came on our 17 Eagle. So far we have 18k on them and all is well. Watch pressure closely with TST TPMS. 80psi

In the list of Goodyear, the only E load coming close to your 4050 lbs maxload was ST255/85R16 with 4080 lbs , so I think you mistyped.
The ST tires are calculated in maxload for 65mph. Also the Endurance, max speed of tire( N 87mph) can be different from reference- speed, P tires often this is the case.
The only sise given in ST and G614 is 235/85R16, ST 4400lbs and G 614 3750 lbs , and this is only because LT is calculated in maxload for 99mph.

I have them and have no complaints. Put about 35K on this set. Putting new ones on before we pull out of Oklahoma. Got some traveling to do and i apuld rather spend the money on new tires then new sidewall, pipes, ect
