Great thanks. A photo or picture would be great if anyone has one.

Go look in a side compartment by your entry door. My solar connector is up in the top rear of the compartment closest to the batteries. It's probably covered by a black plastic cover plate, so it will be tough to spot without a flashlight.

Here's a pigtail kit that should work on your rv, but I won't guarantee it. It does have the reverse leads adapter in case the leads are reversed either place. If it won't work... I'd send it back.

Thanks, I’ll look tomorrow. What shape is the plug?

I do recognize this pigtail. That’s not the pigtail I was given.

About the size of your little fingernails. It has a black rubber plug on it. The wires with the plug should be in your packets that came with your Rv

Hi there,
I just got the same unit. How and for what are you planning to use solar power? I don't know much about it. The more you read, the more complicated seems to be.

I found the plug in the docking station above the outside faucet connections. Plain as day...if it was a snake it would have bit me. We don't boondock much...maybe twice a year and I have a cover for our rig so rooftop not a good option for me. 200 watts on the ground is plenty for our rig. The connection in the docking station will work great for this. I keep a small 20 watt panel directly connected to the batteries as a trickle charger when in storage.

Regarding the smell - could it be coming out of the battery area? We had that issue and a battery was super hot. Apparently it failed. I took it to an Interstate battery dealer and got a new one (free). They said it could have exploded. Good luck.

Thank you. We thought so too and got new batteries. Disappointed to find the smell still exists. Thank you for replying. So frustrating to have this stinky smell and not know what it is. Thanks though.

Do you have propane lines in that area? When we got our FW home my wife smelled a weird smell in the back of the camper. When I got home from work I knew it was propane and found that the factory did not tighten one of the external propane access points and it was leaking.

Thank you for letting me know. It should smell like propane then or something else? I could ask husband to tighten. Bottom is sealed so hard to determine what it is. Jayco says they never heard of it and it must be a maintenance issue. Nope we sanitize with water and hose every dump. It’s weird.

So I am in process of putting on a 100 watt solar panel on the roof of my 2019 317RLOK. Took the panel off at the battery disconnect and wiring diagram was there and showing the 30amp solar prep/tow vehicle charge line. Found the GoPower decal on the outside of the wall on the bathroom panel(bathroom pocket door side). It says this is the cutout for the controller, wires behind. After I get my controller, I will mock it up to make sure the cutout lines are the same. I am hopeful that behind the decal will be a red & black wire looped, ready to cut to attach to controller. Then I am assuming (probable wrongfully, but hopefully) that the other ends are connected where they are supposed to be at the disconnect panel. So when I make connection from roof to controller the batteries will be receiving charge. Can it really be as simple as this?

Yes it is but don't cut too deep and close the door! I had issues at the pre installed roof connection. The wire nuts came off the pigtails.
