Got my babies shelter today

They did a great install job of mr RV shed at new house. Full sides and half back down. As soon as House is inspected I will run power.

That looks great. Hard to tell in the pics, but what are the posts anchored in?

It has a galvanized frame. They have it anchored with those big mobile home auger tie downs. Ten on each side to meet the 150 mph code. If u have a pole barn set with poles in concrete that is considered permenant and u r taxed a bunch. This is considered portable and taxed way less. It is a Carolina Shed and the crew really took pride in what they did. Hell they wore me out just watching them.
The size is 22x46 with 12 ft sides. It has 15 ft top clearance to center support beam. So unhitching still gives just about a ft clearance on my FBTS

Well let me say this. The bigger they are they have to change the design. My neighbor has a little smaller one but could be put up like a quonson hut. Mine had to be a Box eve design so more money. So for my size less than 8k. But that adds to my value and I can keep a bunch of stuff in there with my FW

Just for cost comparison for difference sizes and options...

I have a 31' long, 18' wide with 10' legs. I too have the boxed eave, no sides or back. Mine is a Carolina Carport and I paid about $2400 installed. It has 6 hurricane ties as required for wind, and has additional bracing for snow load as required in the northern mid-Atlantic.

Mine was purchased through www.Alansfactoryoutlet.com, which had the best prices I could find in my area.

Ya they surprised me. Said probably Jan and got the call Monday for Sat install. Now I can keep the new roof looking new a little longer. Big difference in price from the link you sent me, I figured they would be close but not even.

Affirmative- Bigger requires modified frame

Looks very nice -Rock.
Having a 36FBTS under cover certainly helps to protect the roof and sides.
I use the extra covered space to permit carving year round. Just put in 18 LED light fixtures two 20 amp outlets and two 30 amp outlets.

That is a nice size. I am limited to a certain percent of my house size to add out buildings. At first they told me no because of my work shed but they were off by just 100 sq ft. So I got it and that was as big as I could go. U and Viruscraig shoot me an e mail I would like to talk FBTS with u guys

Nice!!

I have one also, but I pulled the rookie move and only did a 12' wide unit. Wish I would have thought that through!! Love the extra room you have. I am glad it's out of the SUN though
