The gold stripes on my NorthPoint are pretty much done.
Anyone else having this problem? It’s only the gold stripe.

I know I can remove them with the rubber wheel thing. Has anyone done this?
I don’t care if they get replaced, I won’t miss them.
I’m wondering if the remover tool will leave a noticeable rub mark, or if it will be discoloured underneath and be noticeable.
I would like to just take the gold off and all looks normal after.

I have used the 3M brand "Eraser Wheels" at work to remove full company names and legal lettering from the side of motorcoaches that we have sold. Works great BUT, if you are not careful, you can easily burn the paint. We have tried knock off branded wheels with very poor results.

We had nothing but streaks and piled up goo from the drill driven eraser. The best results came from spraying on Walmart laquer thinner and using plastic razor blades from Amazon to scrape off the decals. Test some place hidden to make sure you don't dissolve the paint. You can also use a heat gun from Harbor Freight and the plastic razor .blades

I picked some vinyl back with my finger and I can see a big difference in the paint.
I guess removing and not replacing isn’t such a good idea.
