Greasing bearings

Ok, the new rig needs to have wheel bearings re-greased. I have a North Point 381 DLQS with elect 6 point leveling system. Before taking off I want to get this done, so my question(s), 1) should I put the slides in, 2) retract leveling system, 3) hook up the Truck, before jacking her up to free the wheels.

Definitely put the slides in. Hooking to the truck will give you some stability. I don't have levelling but I've done it with the truck hooked up and the jacks/stabilizers up. Have also done it sitting on the front legs. I just jack one wheel at a time with a bottle jack under the spring perch. Will the levelling system lift the wheels off the ground? That would make it easy.

Agree, definitely slides in. If it was me I'd also hitch up the truck for the added stability, and brakes - remember, once the wheels are off the ground you lose the brakes on that wheel. Though the leveling system will raise the wheels off the ground, it whines and groans while doing it. I would retract and use a bottle jack under one wheel at a time. You don't want to put the extra strain on the opposite side jacks either. If you do go the leveling jack route, my recommendation is to do it on shore, not battery, power.

When I jack an individual wheel I use a thick steel block on top of the bottle jack so that the load is on the two hanger bolts rather than the end of the jack on the axle tube. Had no issues doing it this way and I've jacked a number of times, one wheel at a time.
