I have a 2016 293RKDS fifth wheel with 3.0 Ground Control. Over the last year, the system has not been able to level on its own batteries. Somehow, its quits before being leveled even if almost leveled to start with. I have installed 2 new 6 volts golf cart batteries with 200 W solar panel to make sure everything is all charged to the max and no changes. It will work better with connexion to the truck but not closed to what it can do when connected to shore power where it will lift all 4 wheels of the ground. Anyone else with this problem?
I always hook to shore power before I unhook from the truck and then level. That ensures you have good voltage. Might check your electrical ground connections.

The more those jacks wear, the more voltage it takes to operate them.

Thank you, I connect to shore power everytime I can but 50% of the time we dry camp. I have seen a significant decrease in lifting power in the last 18 months.
