Ground Control 3.0 Reset
Perhaps this is well-known information, but it was new to me. Yesterday I was going to hook up to my North Point trailer for the first time this year. I have the Ground Control 3.0 6 point leveling system. It spent the winter with only the front jacks down. I pushed the power button on the control panel and although it powered up the display was blank. I tried turning the power on and off, and flipping the battery disconnect switch but nothing changed. I was able to raise and lower the front jacks using the buttons but the display remained blank. I checked the Jayco owners manual and found nothing (no surprise there). I next checked the owners manual for the Ground Control and found nothing there either. Finally I called the technical assistance line and after a 45 minute wait spoke with a real live person. He directed me to the control board for the leveling system and told me to find the cable leading from the control panel. This is a 4 wire cable (red black green yellow) with a plug in connector. I unplugged the connector for 10 seconds, plugged it back in and the system powered up normally. Just something to remember if anyone else has a similar problem. Not sure why they don't include this in the trouble shooting section of the manual.
