Hardware surge protection

Has anyone installed a hard wired surge protector (EMS) system in a 27.5 RKDS? Mine is a 2017 and the 50 amp service attaches drivers side, rear, of fifth wheel. No wires are visible anywhere, but circuit breakers are on passenger side in kitchen area. I assume that is probably the best place to install? Thanks for any help.

We have a different 5th but out breaker panel is next to the steps to the “loft”. I installed our EMS somewhat behind the breaker panel. I removed the rear wall of the basement which gave me access to the wires and a generous space for the install. I pulled the breaker panel which allowed me good access to the line in. I bought a 6’ piece of cable from Lowes and didn’t cut the existing cable. I also had the remote display which I mounted above the breaker panel.
