Has anybody replaced their Crank up Wineguard antennae with a King Jack HDTV antenna

I just purchased a King Jack Directional HDTV RV Antenna with Signal Finder & Mount with baseplate to replace my Wineguard crank up antenna. Has anybody had any issues with the cable wiring or anything else during the install of one of these?

I did mine last year on my NP. I'm pretty sure I documented it in the mods to the 377 thread. It was pretty much plug-n-play.

Thanks, I will try to search for it. Has it made any difference in TV reception?

In my opinion, yes it has made a difference. In the campgrounds that we camped in previous to the install vs. post install was that we received anywhere from 3-10 more channels.

I just replaced my antenna with a Winegard Rayzar. It was easy to do. Just make sure you use plenty of elastomeric caulk.

I might have hit a low branch which caused the original to disappear.
