Hello! New to Jayco but not new to camping.

Good morning! We recently purchased an Eagle 355MBQS that will be delivered in the spring to our seasonal campsite and I am so excited to have the extra living space. We traded in the Thor Chateau Class C coach since we are stationary now and not doing a lot of traveling. The Thor had an on demand tankless heater which we loved, especially my preteen boy who takes very long showers. The Eagle has a 6 gallon tank which I do not think will be sufficient for us. My DH thinks we should live with it for a while and see if it would work but as a plumbing sales person, I do not think it will work if we plan on taking regular showers as we are used to instead of navy showers. Should I upgrade now since the dealer would have all winter to install it or is this something that can be done from our campsite? We do not have a tow vehicle so bringing it back would not be that simple, plus the dealer is an hour and a half away. I welcome your thoughts on the situation.

I added the 400 watt electric heater element to my 6 gallon gas model and was pleasantly surprised to find the shower capacity was greatly increased with that small boost to the gas burner. Also prevents that 2 am burner run to keep the water hot.

But, teenagers and endless showers causing the paint to peel off the walls will probably not work, but that's good, right??? LOL

As RogerR said running gas and elec makes it equal to a 10 gal. Also:
