You do not need an internet connection since this is a local connection via a local router to your smartphone or tablet. It lets you wirelessly control certain RV functions like slides and leveling while you are walking around outside your RV.

You did not say what rig you have. In my rig, the router is mounted in a top right corner of a hutch that is next to the control panel near the door.

Normally, you go to the bluetooth settings on your device, and look for the device, which should show up with other local networks, such as local wifi's etc. The name of the router will be on a sticker on the router itself. Choose that for your bluetooth connection. It will ask for password, which is also on the same sticker.

The router name usually starts with "MyRV_ ......."

Every time you want to use it with your OneControl Panel, you will have to connect to it like this but your device should remember the password. Then go back to your regular WiFi connection when you are done if that applies to you.

Let us know
