Exclamation Help! New to slide outs

We just got a 1999 Jayco 2930 with 2 slides. When retracting the main slide, it parks itself crooked with a larger gap on the aft and almost complete on the fore. We have some manuals from the previous owner but none say exactly where to access all the slide components. Been up half the night searching the web. Supposed to hit the road tomorrow.

Need more info on which slide is crooked to be any help.
Different slides have different adjustments.
Is it a rack and pinion? They have two arms under the slide that run rhru the IBeam frame. There are adjustments on the arms under the slide to true it up. Need a couple wrenches and some time. Do a lookup on youtube for rv slide rack and pinion adjustments.
Is it an electric swinteck? They have tracks top and bottom both ends on the side panels. They have very little mechanical adjustment. You just make sure that you run them all the way in or out until they stop and hold the button for 4-5 seconds

I know it's a Power Gear slide. Not sure exactly what type. Like I said, we just bought it and everything was fine until we got it home, started setting it up to prepare it for the road. We though maybe the rv wasn't leveled or maybe a bump in the road threw it off.
I'll have to get under there and see. The hubby says the entire underside of the 5th wheel is covered and panels have to be removed to see the frame.
Thanks for the reply, I'll keep you updated.

You will see the arms thru the frame when the rack and pinion slide is extended. The adjustments are on the outboard end.

He has a Power Gear slide, not a rack & pinion. Sounds like he has to re-sync the motors. Look at this video:

Power Gear made Rack & Pinion too that is what was on the 1st Gen Senecas and his rig is 20 years old. Could be a sheared pin/bolt on the rear gear assembly.

My husband tried that but I'll try it again. We are going to stop by the Jayco dealer on the way out of town. In the meantime, we have the other slide in with no problems and the travel bars are in.
