Help price on North point

My wife and I looked at a new North point 375BHSF. We like the one on the lot. However does not have thermopane windows , but is loaded right to the Max. We looked to order one fully loaded up with the windows. They gave me a price $65,589, and $23,500 for my current loaded Eagle. New 5ver has customer value package,Jayco luxery package ,fifth wheel North point package. Table free standing, 23 cuft refrig residential and 2nd 15 k BTU lo pro bedroom. First how does price sound second if you have free standing table how do you like it. Thank you

We have had 2 with the free standing table and one without. We would not be without it. The only complaint I have heard is from people with small kids who use it for a sleeper or under storage. In our case it is not needed.

Check at RvOne.com ... Build your North Point and they will email you a price. They don't contact you after.
Albany Rv is a RvOne outlet....fairly close to you.

List would be around $84K with the options you listed. Not sure what that last one was.

Take 30% off. Makes it $58,800 before trade in.

Dealer is way too high.

Get an on line quote from Indiana RV or like and go back and beat him up.

I am told Camping World will match. If you get within a $1000 with shipping, you should be happy.

Trade in should be treated separately. This is where the games begin. I would sell it myself to get the best ROI if you have the time and patience.

P.S. Sorry. Hit the wrong button on my calculator but an on line quote may be a couple percent better than what I calculated.

I tend to agree with Fairenatic in regards to the price you were given.

While we're looking at the 377RLBH, the MSRP for your 375BHFS is actually $1k lower than the 377....and we've received a couple of quotes several thousand less than what you received, and our quote also included almost everything such as the dual pane windows, back-up camera, generator, 2nd a/c, slide topper awnings, residential ref, etc. I'd think you could find it for a fair bit less than the cost you've been quoted.

I learned a long time ago, people on the internet always buy at a lower price than me. I've always assumed they catch bigger fish too. I can't see your trade so I couldn't comment on the price. I can say our 375 has the free standing table and chairs. With the 4 of us, I wouldn't go back to a dinette. My wife and I actually get a place to sit! My only regret is getting the gen prep.

Quite a bit, over 11k to be exact more than I paid for my 2014 375BHFS through Indiana RV Connection. Didn't order with the larger fridge because we never use it, but did order free standing table and chairs which we prefer over a booth, 2nd AC, fireplace, thermal windows and awning covers.

Donedroolin,

I would start over and get the price without a trade-in.

I agree with Fairenatic. Figure out the MSRP using Jayco's web site and then take off 30% as a minimum. I can speak from experience, you can get your new rig for even more than 30% off MSRP. The quote you got is WAY TOO HIGH. Do yourself a favor and get at least 4 quotes. You will be surprised. Then take those quotes to the dealer of choice and push them to get close to the best price.

Didn't anyone ever tell you that everything you read on the internet is true! Haha. It's okay if you don't believe what you read.
I tend to always research the _____ out of everything and then determine if what others are saying is true or not. In this case............+30% is TRUE.

And do not be surprised if a dealer does not want to play.

They know there are enough "big fish" out there that do not do their homework that are easier to catch.

They hear that first BIG discount price and take the bait; hook, line and sinker.

No one contacts you from rvone. They might send you an email about specials, but no salesperson calls and harasses you

Wow , I did the RVone price quote then took off the 30%. WOW, what a difference, Like $10,000 dollars. So I should bring that with me.. The sales girl is goanna call me today. I put in for the Indiana RV also waiting for an email return. Wish I had done this with my current Eagle. Probably could have saved a boat load. Most everyone got at least 30% off. Love this forum. Love Jayco

RVOne is a wholesaler and I'm sure they gave you a wholesale price. Why would you take an additional 30% of their quote? Surely they're not going to give you an additional 30% of what they quoted, but it should be at least 30% below MSRP. Are they also quoting you with the same trade? You already learned you over paid for your Eagle, so surely you recognize the wholesale value of it now used is significantly less than you originally thought, right?

No 30% off original price, not there 65,000 price. Indiana RV is also just under 10,000 lower then the price given me. What a crazy mark up on these things.

What do suppose the markup is on the trade value?

Most prices quoted are without trade ins. They will give you wholesale for the trade. If you owe more on the trade in than it's worth then they add that owed price to the new units prices. That's my guess as to why the original deal price was high for the North Point.
Have you looked up your trade in value to see if they're giving you a fair deal?
