Help With Hot Water

Hello,

I have a 2016 Jayco NorthPoint that i purchased new, have never winterized, and although i have only had it slightly over a year, i have pulled this unit for over 20,000 miles.
I am currently on a road trip, all water functioned well yesterday and this morning. I traveled about 300 miles today, and hooked up at new site. Now i am not getting any water when i turn the hot water faucet on, it doesn't work using city or pump, cold water works fine.

The only things i have done differently recently:

1) when traveling i leave pump switch on, and switch to dry camping so i can get water while i am on the road.

2) started using the black flush out connections (Only a couple of times, and only when i have access to another outside water faucet.

any ideas?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Dennis

Sounds like an air pocket. Try this: Open the outside door to the water heater. Open the pressure release tab for a minute or so. Make sure you have just water coming out of the tab (Hint: If you have had the heater on wear some thick gloves so you do not burn your hand). Once you have nothing but water coming from the relief valve - close the valve and check your fawcets.

Sounds like a valve is closed from water heater. Check valve positions and besure your low point drains are closed.

If you are not getting any water on the hot side I would check hot water bypass valves make sure they are in the right position. If they are I would drain the hot water tank and pull the drain valve and turn the pump on see if you get the pump running then and water out the drain. If so then at least you know what side if the hot water tank you have a blockage or kink.
