Hitch on Eagle HT’s

Still looking for a fifth wheel, and have a question for folks who own...
I have a pair of ebikes that weigh about 100 lbs combined, and the rack is prolly another 40.
You often hear that the receiver hitch is not up to the torque that these may impose on it, i.e., better for towing, not so much a rack for a generator, or in my case, my ebikes.
Are you using that receiver for heavier stuff?
Thanks!

I haul 2 90lb gennys on a 300lb capacity hitch haul rack. No issues at all.

My 5'r has an integrated 2" receiver and I believe it's good for 5K lbs towing. Figure 10% for "tongue weight" around 500#. More than enough for a rack, gen or several bikes.

I believe Eagle ht have 300 hitch weight 3000 tow capacity hitches from the factory. Plenty good enough for bikes and a rack.

I have a Class III factory installed hitch on my 5er. I use a Swagman RV approved Ebike rack from Etrailer. Its good for two 70# bikes. It was the heaviest duty RV Ebike hitch I could find. Just got back from a 3 week 3200 miles trip with Ebikes and it preformed flawlessly.

Yup, they say it is a 300 lb hitch.
The issue, which I may be overthinking, is that with 200 lbs (less than that, but I like to keep it conservative) is that it sticks out about a foot or so, and thus torquing the hitch, especially over bumps.
The two gennys on the back sounds good to hear, I know I won’t be that heavy.

From the looks of the hitch on my ht it is welded directly to the frame. I'm sure if you had a trailer attached with a 300 lb. Tongue weight it would put quite a bit of stress on the hitch over bumps. I would not worry about the bikes. My in laws have an ht with a rack and 5000 watt Yamaha generator and have had no problems.
