Hitchvest

I ordered this Hitchvest a couple of weeks ago. Camping World had them on sale for $149.99 and I had a $25 coupon. I have to say this thing is really nice.

DW got me one last winter - its fantastic! I've hit my head on the hitch a couple of times while getting stuff out of the front compartment, but not as concerned about it anymore as the Hitchvest is so well padded.

I wish I would have had one when I hit my head..........

4 Staples that hurt as bad as the original hit.

Mine was a great investment, keeping the bird nests out in the spring and protecting heads in the summer.

I ordered one and it just came today. Haven't had time to take it out of the bag yet, but are there installation instruction that come with it?

The instructions state to mount the "Footman loops" with the (4) stainless steel self-tapping screws, but they also came with 4 regular stainless steel screws also. enaEagle, which ones did you use? Also is there anything behind where you mount the loops that one should be concerned about?

I installed some wood on the pin box to keep birds from nesting. I left this piece on. It worked good for the loops to mount on.
