2021 Jayco 382FLRB tanks

Hi Mike, I also have a 2021 Jayco 382FLRB and took me a week to figure out the tanks and flush outs (Front to rear black tank)
I also learned the kitchen sink drains into the front black tank.
The little sink, power room sink dumps, into the front gray. Correct about the rear black and the shower and the other tank is always empty ( must be the washer... Do not know where the outdoor sink goes.

I have problems with front black tank draining out 100% the lowest it goes is 2/3 . I also have problems with the outdoor sink draining. Lastly the tank sensors are not reading correct. I love the trailer however the plumbing needs some reengineering!
I will have frozen tanks this winter for sure

We need more input from other owners
Joel

Welcome to the forum.

The tank indicators are notoriously inaccurate, especially the black tanks. TP and other stuff gets hung on them. The only level indication I look at is Full. I'm not familiar with your model but it seems a bit odd the kitchen sink dumps into the black tank. Trying to figure out why things are done the way they are will drive you bonkers.

My front tank always read 1/3 or 2/3 full too, what I found is they plumbed it wrong. The tanks is only 7-1/2” tall and the outlet pipe sloped up about 4”. Also, the bottom of the tank bulged down. Read my “How to really empty your black tank” post for how I fixed it.

I am very surprised that the kitchen sink is tied to the front black tank. If you over fill that tank, it will back up to the lowest point, witch would be the kitchen sink. Lots of extremely bad things are in the black tank.

Personally, I would contact Jayco with your vin number and ask for the waste line drain schematic. This is the only way you will truly know what is connected to what.

Tank sensors are fairly useless.
