Question holding tanks, etc

Bought a 2018 Eagle Series 5th wheel,27.5 ft....what size are the grey tanks and the black tanks. Looked in owners manuel, had everything but that.
Being I am a novice I have a battery question. When plugged into 120 volt, which we always are, you still need a battery? I have been told that everything runs through the battery so if no battery, there is problems. We had to get a new battery anyway, but just wondering??

Welcome Aboard! Without knowing your exact model, it is hard to say for sure. You can google "Jayco 2018" and your Model# and find the original marketing details. (https://www.jayco.com/tools/archive/...ns-and-prices/). Sometimes the build does not match marketing. You can also contact Jayco with your vin number and they can send you the build sheet info for your unit.

As for a battery; Yes and No. Yes if you tow at all. Legally you need the battery for the emergency brake system. If you leave it parked at a seasonal site, a battery is not required. Having a battery if you are at a season site is not a bad thing when the power goes out.

When plugged in to shore power the converter will power all your 12V devices and keep the battery charged
