Any chance the lines are crossed on the faucet? Have you run the cold long enough to see if you get hot water?

Yes. I have checked and done everything except change out the fixture itself. It did look fine when I took it apart but it seems as though there is mixing happening. Tankless heater, all lines and fittings good.

I have heard that the tankless water heaters are sensitive to pressure. They need a certain pressure range to operate correctly. Maybe your shower fixture is causing the water pressure to low or high and the heater isn’t turning on. Check the hose. Try taking it to your outside shower port and see if you have any different results

Outside works perfectly. I appreciate it! Inside shower just started acting up. Was working fine last week.

It sounds like your heater is working fine. If it’s not in your wand, then it has to be the valve in your shower or the hot water supply line to your valve. If you can find a way to insure the line isn’t clogged, push air through it, then it has to be the valve.

I don't know what brand of faucet you have, the common brand is Phoenix. A new cartridge is $5 or $6, or about $18 for a whole new faucet.

Here's a place that probably has what you need for it.

Got it fixed! Thank you all for your help! Restricted mixing valve in the fixture where hose attaches. Blew it out and works great again! Danke!
