It has gutter extensions already. My storage isn't level, but this started when it was parked level. I would hate to see what happens if I leave it like this in the unlevel parking spot. The last time I parked I left the nose 3" high and it has slowed down the rate of destruction to the seal, but I would have thought a better seal would have been done from the factory.
I am thinking of trimming off the rest of the butyl tape that has over time expanded out, then as MHBell suggested, using some Dicor on it. I would think removing the Dicor every few years and reapplying it would be easier than removing the trim and replacing the butyl tape.
Is the Dicor the same stuff they put above the exterior door, scare lights, and clearance lights? Mine has a white, almost looks like tub and shower caulk on the tops of them, I am assuming to keep them water tight.
