How to Seal drill holes in under belly?

I recently had a water heater leaking and replaced. However, there was water leaking into my underbelly of my 2016 Jayco Pinnacle.

In order to drain the water sitting in the underbelly, I drilled about half a dozen holes.

Now that everything appears to have dried up, I would like to seal those holes.

Has anyone had to do something like this? What is the best way to affect a permanent fix?

Thanks Grump. Hadn't thought of that. Knew that was a good solution for the roof where the sun could cure it. Didn't know it would work underneath too Thanks!

Or a Nylon push in upholstery plug. They can be found in a specialty hardware store or even Lowes.

I had to cut into my undercoating to deal with water damage on my old trailer. This is what I used to seal everything back up:

https://www.amazon.com/Mobile-Belly-...A3VDBPE82S43CG

It will work on the plastic canvas-like material, and it will also work on the coroplast if you have an enclosed underbelly.

That’s what I would use......

If you have small drill holes, say 1/4 inch or so you can use something like a silicone or Quad seal type caulk. I would shoot a big blob through the hole and some extra on the outside. Smear it around a little to get a good holding seal.

If the hole is so big caulk won't stay in place then go to the belly cover or Etearnabond route.

If you have something reasonable to patch with you could also cut a small patch and "glue" it on with Quad Seal or equivalent.

I cut a flap in my coroplast to tighten a bolt.I used strips of Eternabond to hold it closed. It wouldn't stay stuck. I now have a strip of wood as a backer with screws to hold the end of the flap and then used a heat gun to warm up the Eternabond and plastic and cover the joints. I then used a layer of Gorilla tape over that. Then heat gun'd the layers and pressed them down to hopefully get them to stick well. We'll see.

Not applicable to your holes but adding this to the belly repair methods. I'll know by early January if it holds during road travel.

First choice, Eternabond, Second choice, Gorrila Tape. I’ve used both and couldn’t tell you which is better bacuse they both are still there years later.

Personally I wouldn't use Eternabond tape on the underbelly as you need a roller to activate the adhesive and on the soft chloroplast this may prove to be difficult. I cut into my underbelly to replace a black tank valve 3 years ago and the Gorilla tape I applied is still going strong. Just clean the surface and apply. Use the Eternabond for something more important like your roof, plus it's way more expensive.
