I guess it's my turn on the NorthPoint

Wife and I purchased the North Point 377RLBH this morning. We just went to look...I had several previous quotes from last summer when we looked, before wife decided to do hardwood floors in the house. So I had good idea of what price I would be willing to pay. My only worry was our current TT, with regards to trade in.

They gave me great price, great financing and great trade in value. My wife and I looked at one another and before we knew it we had purchased a new RV! It all went so fast, I forgot to take pictures! I'll post pics after we pick up.

We pick it up next Friday and will go down to Austin next month for our 1st trip.

It has the mahogany interior. Option wise, it has: Customer Value Package; Luxury Package; Microwave w/ convection; Residential refrigerator; TV in cargo; 2nd A/C; Cord Reel; 2nd Awning; & exterior grill.

We are very excited!!!

Dan

Congrats on the new trailer! We are still loving our North Point 377! Heading to a fishing tournament on the 22nd and I can't wait. We brought ours home mid December and the new still has not worn off. I do not think you will be disappointed one bit.

Congrats Dan. We just brought ours home yesterday. Pretty much same options as yours. Can't wait to take it out!

Thanks everyone! We are just beside ourselves...Don't know what to think or do at this point?? I guess I will have some things for sale from the old TT, like our brand new external Progressive EMS for 30 amp...and whatever else I find after I go thru the TT this weekend. We are still very exited, just don't know what to think?

Congrats and welcome to "Club North Point!"

Why sell the EMS? Wouldn't you be able to use it when connected to only 30amp service? Just a thought.

I guess you are correct...I could keep the 30 amp EMS for those times when we have to step down from 50 amp service. But, I guess that I should probably get a 50 amp EMS.

Thanks again for all the well wishes! Needless to say, I didn't sleep well last night...both nervous and excited!

Congratulations!

When we made the jump to the Eagle I bought the 50A EMS, kept the 30A for those times we only have 30A service, and also as a backup.

I have one. It won't work if the 15a receptical is a GFCI....blows right away.
When I was at site that had a regular 15a receptical it worked fine.
I also have a 30-15 adapter to use it with two 30amp recepticals, but the post needs two and the neighbor can't be using one.

I guess it's my turn on the NorthPoint

I'm from Whitesboro, NY actually. If anyone has been following the national news this week...you will recognize the name.

Our village residents held a vote this week whether or not to change the village seal which depicts a white man "wrestling" a Native American.

MTV, Steven Colbert, and many others have been running wild with it. They voted to keep it.

Having had a 30 amp TT and going to a 50 amp 5er...What are some of the things that I should put on my "grocery list" to have on hand? What should I purchase at a bare minimum for our 1st outing next month. We will be at SP near Austin, TX at 30 amp receptacle. THANK YOU in advance!

Some way to secure the TT when away. I prefer something that locks up the wheels over a hitch lock. Go to YouTube to see why.

A tire pressure monitoring system is almost a must from a safety standpoint.

A generator or two. I am a big fan of the Yamaha 2000is for their clean power and quietness. Honda is also a favorite around here.

Tools. Lots of threads here that discuss that, as well.

A printed copy of the owners manual for reference should you forget how to operate something or run into a problem.

Electrical and hose adapters. Not required but a back flow preventor and a water bandit can come in handy.

Extension hoses]cords for water, sewer, and electrical connections.

I am sure I have forgotten some of the must haves but others will chime in.

Good luck and have fun.

Dan,

What park? Blanco? Inks lake? Both are nice but be warned they are not as "big rig" friendly as you would like.
