I have 2 water pump switches, why?

Like the title says, I have 2 water pump switches in my 2015 jayco eagle 33.5 rets. One on the main control board and one in the compartment with the dump valves and water hook up and I cant find anything in my manual about the switch by the water hook up but I do know it runs the WP for the fresh water tank though. I'm sure this is a bone head question but why 2? Go easy on me, I'm new at this.

If you only have one water inlet into the rig, and not a second gravity fill port, the second switch is so you can 1) fill the water tank from a container through the main water inlet and 2) pump antifreeze and sanitizer solution into the system. The switch being by the water controls saves you from having to run back and forth inside to get to it.

Plus, if you have a external shower hook-up, this water switch allows for it's use, too.

It may also control your outside shower.

One in the bathroom? Wish I had one in the bathroom. I may add one sometime.

One in the control panel inside the entry door, one by the outside shower and, yes, one in the bathroom.

Strictly for the owners convenience. Any will turn it on. If the red indicator is on, another switch is already on.

Here is an example of the outside switch usage since I just did it 2 hours ago. Am dry camping and had to fill my tank back up from jugs. I always leave the pump powered so the outside switch is used to turn off the pump so I can change the valve settings to suck water from my jugs. After I put the hose into the jug I flip the switch back on until the jug is empty. Rinse and repeat.

Since my pump is left on I also use the outside switch when filling the tank from city water.
