I Learned Something about My BMPro
Did you know if the BMPro does an update during the middle of the night it will kick off all your settings? It will.
We are camped at 8300 feet in the Colorado Rockies and nighttime temps have been in the low 30's mostly, 33 this morning. I have been setting the BMPro tstat for heat before we go to bed. About 4 this morning I woke up cold. It was 51 degrees inside. I looked at the monitor which had a banner that an update had been done. The heat was off, reset it. Took a while to warm up but comfortable by the time I woke up again. Then I tried to run some hot water in the bath sink but it was only luke warm. I looked again at the monitor and the electric water heat setting, which we have been using, was also off.
I also lost my settings one other time on the this trip during the day. I think it lost connection with the node but I'm not sure about that. We don't have pets right now but if we did I would not want that to happen on a hot day when we were gone and they were inside.
I really like the system and have learned how to use it but sometimes old tech may be more dependable.
