If BM Pro dies??

Are there normal switches for everything if the BMPro has issues?? It seems really cool, but I’d hate to get stuck with slides out etc.

Thanks

You can set the app up on your phone. Does all the same functions.

if the Node (central power control box) goes out then you would have to put them in manually or get someone who know how to temporarily bypass it.

While I love technology and things like this.....I am glad my does not have it. Been camping with friends that had the main control panel go out and couldnt operate anything.

I also really like all the tech stuff, but a failure of the control box would be devastating with no manual overrides for slides, HVAC, or levelers. I prefer single manual controls for those items even if manual controls involves another tech box of some sort.

I was at a camping show about 2 years ago. I inquired about the system, I think they were calling J-Command at the time, but I could be wrong, couple things they mentioned; The light switches also work as a meshed network repeater (my words not theirs) so the switches that are farther way and cannot communicate directly with the main controller can communicate back through other switches. The lights switches are all battery operated, and you can expect about 2 years out of a battery, before they need to be replaced. If a battery goes dead, the other switches can skip it and route through another switch to communicate.

We are looking at new campers, this is one feature I do not want, and it is a mandatory option on every rig we are looking at .

I just hope I am wrong on my understanding, or you better carry a fist full of small button batteries.

there are only 4 remotes or so you are talking about with batteries, depending on the floor plan. Several lights still have regular switches and are not through the controller.
