Inop slideout

2019 Jayco North Point. Large kitchen slide stuck with rear corner extended 12", front corner fully retracted. Owner's manual does not cover this type of slide. Anyone know how to manually retract the extended end?

Either your out of sync or something is jamming the slide. Follow this to re-sync.

My bedroom slide did the same thing...called Lippert and they talked me thru a bypass procedure to get it totally out and in....got to find the motor controller for the slide motors...my wife and I also searched and found a wire connection unplugged...replugged and has worked fine since then....you can down load a trouble shooter manual for the slide outs from Lippert....which had the info in it that the Lippert man walked me thru...easy to do....

The bedroom slide controller is in the basement on the ceiling near the propane compartment....there is another controller near the water command center on our Pinnacle that I assume might be for the kitchen slide....

Slideout inop

Thanks, Grumpy. After trying everything I could think of - unplugging, plugging, pushing, pulling, etc. - the extended end of the slide was finally brought in using the "retract" button. Slide operated normally at next campground. I may still need to synchronize the motors per the video.

Thanks, Sola123. Yep, know about the controller; even had a new controller put in which didn't help. None of the help files covered my slide design, however. Was finally able to get slide to respond and now seems to be working normally.

Are you extending the landing gear when disconnecting? Don't!

Have you looked at the tires? Are any of the tire lifting off the ground (or close to it) when auto leveling?

My concern is the frame maybe twisting or bending causing the appliance slide to drag.

Slide inop

DonaandDon,
Thanks, but neither of your thoughts are issues. Trailer is level; tires are on ground. Slide working correctly, now.

If it's the slim rack type of slide, which I'm sure it is, there is no way to syncronize the motors. They are not like the schwintek slide.
