Insignia oven problem
I have an 2020 Insignia oven in. My Jayco 2020 Pinnacle 32RLTS. Having trouble keeping the oven lit while cooking. The pilot light keeps going out when the oven burner comes on to keep oven at temp.
Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to fix it?
Thanks,

I can think of a few things that might be causing your issue.
First, the pilot flame is too close to the main burner flame when it lights. Maybe a slight bending of the bracket away from the burner so the pilot flame isn't buried in the burner flame when it comes on.
Second is the thermocouple isn't close enough to the pilot flame. Next might be a bad pilot/thermocouple assembly.
And the last thing might be to have a professional adjust the gas flow to the pilot, and maybe check the main propane regulator for the proper 11" of water column outflow.

Ours has done the same thing. Most of the time it works but it has gone out in the middle of cooking something a few times. We now watch it a little closer when using it.

That oven is finicky. So regardless what the instructions say; You must have the oven door open to ensure a good light off. So, with the oven door open turn the temp control to the ignitor position and watch the burner for the fire to light off with a slight "woosh" sound. Continue holding in the knob for at least 15 seconds giving the fire safety mechanism a chance to heat up. After 15 seconds close the oven door. Monitor the pre-heat closely touching the glass of the oven door to make sure the oven is still heating

I have found I need to light the oven pilot light wait a minute or two...then turn it to the desired temperature... if I don't wait a minute or two after lighting.. it will go out.

The oven in my 2011 never worked right, so it became a storage space for my skillet.
