Ok took some pics. The 1st one is the bedroom slide, hope you can see how the topper bracket is mounted on the lower portion of the flange trim. The 2nd pic shows the mounting bracket on the large slide, mounted just below the flange.

Another tip. One of the last installation actions is to pull the factory installed cotter pins out of each end of the topper. It’s much easier to do if you straighten the cotter pins at ground level before installing the topper.

Installed the hex brackets and material brackets on both slides today. Waiting on a friend to help me install the topper:

Your bracket looks excellent. If i were you I’d take the rain gutter off and then re-mount after your install above your topper. You have it on the run now. Great job.

I have a 2018 27.5RKDS that I had Jayco install the slide toppers on. If you can wait until tomorrow, I will be happy to take pictures for you..

Thanks for the compliment on the bracket Doubleheader. I may remove the rain gutter or I might just leave it where it is.

Thanks Ruth for the "factory" install topper pictures. They attached the bracket to the flange rather than below the flange against the slide body. That was going to be my option #2 if I were not able to modify the brackets.

No Rustic Eagle ... it's because the wardrobe slide flange is 6" tall. The brackets are made for a flange that is 4-1/2" tall.

Ruth, which brand awning did the factory install? I am wanting to put an awning on my wardrobe slide on a 2018 28.5 RSTS that also has the window. I have awnings on my other 2 slides.
