We were supposed to be LP prepped but turns out we were gas prepped - found out on delivery. No big deal. We actually purchased a 7000 Onan because DW wanted to make sure if she was making coffee, using the microwave and both A/C units were running she wouldn't blow a fuse! I know...over kill but what wife wants wife gets (most of the time). We had it installed by our service guys because we were dealing with mother issues at the time.

From factory - propane prepped which also gave an extra propane tank. Needed the wiring for the BMPRO installed to activate gen inside which is a nice feature. The wiring hookup was easy with Onan schematics. Yes, 5500 gas evap Onan. Installed a 15 gallon RDS tank (in storage) with a carbon canister out of a 96 Taurus that was rebuilt with new carbon. One vent hose goes to gen (positive venting), another overboard (even complies with CA EPA laws - like I care) Reason - more propane for heat and cooking when boondocking. Gas gens are a little more proficient ( I only use non-ethanol gas) but everybody on the planet will call me a liar! I also have a residential fridege (non-propane) works like a dream and only pulls 126 watts. Four 6 volt AGM batteries in series parallel = 450 amp hours. Decided against lithium because of cost and they are not so proficient in cold weather (we hunt and fish in the mountains)

I would recommend contacting Jayco with your vin number. Ask them for they 12V DC and 120V AC wiring diagrams. This should give you most of what you want. Regarding the Jaycommand, you may have to refer to the manual to determine which terminals you connect to and how to program the system to recognize the genny.
