Here is my set up. Rest of my smaller ones are on arm mounts. I have pull on this living room one in a bunch of direction and I feel like I am going to break it. I just tried "rause it up" and it feel like it is bending it pull out from the bottom. Can you describe further? Is there a release I need to hit?

There should be a little strap under the tv that you pull to release the mount.

Mine has a little pull strap on both sides under the front to release the travel lock.

I didn't raise my tv all the way. That gave me enough room to plug in the hdmi cable. I used a mirror and a flashlight to locate the hdmi port.
