Insulation HT Vs Eagle

Is the insulation/frame etc the same in the HT line vs the Eagle line. I can’t find any info on this. Just a curiosity. I assumed it would be the same, but wanted to confirm.

The HT's have a smaller frame for sure, but I don't know about the insulation.

I have a HT and its rated for 4 seasons. Although I can tell you there isnt much under the floor other than a thermal foil type blanket/insulation. If you look between the plastic underbelly and look inside there isnt anything there. I know from cold weather use when opening up the garage I can feel warm our rush out so I believe they vent some heat in there on purpose.

But when its below freezing I only use the furnace so it keeps the inside of the underbelly warm. Above freezing we supplement with electric ceramic space heaters since electric is in your fee paid and propane I have to refill and pay for myself.

Jim, mine is the same way, with nothing in the under belly, but did fine last year at 17 degrees in Yellowstone. I went through a lot of propane those three weeks.

Have a 2017 Eagle 321rsts
Front cap had 1 layer of fiberglass that hung from top down. It did not reach bottom of cap by about a foot. I added a bunch more batts. Noticed closet was really hot in summer. Was stringing a cable back to my router pulled down the corroplast. 3 batts under the fresh water tank soaking wet. Water was coming in over the I beam frame onto corroplast and wicked into the insulation. Had one batt under the rear gray tank. I have sealed up the underside and added a bundle of fiberglass from basement to rear of trailer.

So from bottom up in most places it had:
Corroplast, air, poly tarp, reflectix Bubble insulation, and about 1 inch of fiberglass batting.. Then plywood floor. The tarp reflectix and fiberglass was wrapped around furnace ducts. Wiring was slipped in and out of the insulation. Not sealed up at all.
I have siliconed the frame at the tandems and gorilla taped corroplast from end to end. My hope is to keep the water out.
Furnace was sucking cold air in from basement and under trailer.
I ran a duct from the cold air on furnace to the grate under the steps inside. Sealed up steps so inside is holding the heated or a/c air inside. More like a stick and brick home system. Hoping for an improvement on A/C performance.
Furnace should cycle less often.

I'm sitting in the Grizzly Campground in West Yellowstone right now. Woke up this morning to 37 degree's. I sealed up my underbelly but nothing like Roadrunner. I just dont need any pipes bursting in under freezing temps is all.

West Yellowstone sounds great. Wish I as there. We just did an overnight with the new Eagle and I can confirm judging by how things felt, the insulation is the same as the HT models. My dual AC’s cooled it, but it was a battle against a heat soaked trailer with zero shade at 100 degrees and 40% humidity.

I have read that HT's have 1 1/2" thick walls and Eagles and other models have 2" thick walls. For walls anyhow, that in theory means 25% more insulation. In theory.
