We've had a great rate from Good Sam Insurance. and read others do well with Geico or Progressive.

Good Sams beat every other company I checked. (I'm with Nationwide for car, truck and house. They beat Nationwide by over $200 for same coverage).
Also they allow you to remove collision coverage when in storage. Only condition, if collision is in effect, it must be on for 30 days. Example: put collision on July 7, then even if used 1 day next week, it would be Aug 6 before you can remove collision.
When you put in storage, just call them and they will send check for balance of that coverage. When you want collision back on, call them and only charge is from return of coverage to end of policy date. You can do this as many times as you want. And if you are taking to dealer for work, they give temporary coverage to move it (1 day) at no charge. Just call and do same for pickup and return to storage. I normally do it two or three times a year. Saves $$.
Also policy is for 1 year at a time and if your trailer is totaled and less than 5 model years old, they will replace with one year newer, if memory serves me correctly. Not sure how it works for MH.

I am with USAA for everything but the motorcycles (Progressive) and the camper (Good Sam's).
Haven't had to claim anything, knock on wood. I guess any insurance company is good at collecting money, some are better than others at paying it out. I can't speak to that part of them. They did have the best price.

It was cheaper for me to add our trailer to our Erie insurance policy (we also have Homeowners and Auto with them) than it was for a separate policy through Progressive.

Progressive for us. Since the other cars are there.
No complaints (yet) but I've not filed a claim.

I have GEICO (since 1991 when I was in the military) but never checked Good Sam. GEICO gave me the multiple vehicle discount since I have two cars, a boat, and now the TT.
After reading that so many like Good Sam I'll have to get a quote.

Geico beat all for me. Same coverage as Progressive and if I have an accident while in tow there is only one deductible for TV and Trailer...

If your TV is insured by USAA you can get a very good rate from them. Call though because their website doesn't reflect this fact. Their quote was less than 1/2 of what others quoted.

My current 5th was insured with State Farm (4-5 years) until earlier this year when they jacked up my TV premium by $50 (per 6 months, no claims, driven less than 3K miles/ year). Upset by this I went shopping and settled with USAA, who beat State Farm on all but one item (home, 5th, 3 vehicles) _ one auto went up $10.
HISTORY: Now only somewhat related, but my autos were once insured with Geico (25 years), I always accepted their claims of being the cheapest. Until my Home policy needed to be replaced (Allstate dumped me after 23 years, along with many other customers). This necessitated shopping for insurance. I received bids from 4 or 5 major players AND every one of them beat Geico.
Don't be like me, occasionally you need to get price bids.

We have the Hartford for last 3.5 years, NO claims nothing ever.........last year they went up 1000.00 Last week got new rates again 1000.00 INCREASE.
Had Progressive years ago. Called them yesterday for quote. 3 vehicles & fifth wheel. Lady says I need to talk to their commercial guy for my Ford F350, it cannot be covered under personal account.
I believe she is wrong, but OK. She gives us quote on 2 vehicles and fifth wheel.
Then she transferred me to commercial department. Told him she said I cannot put F350 on personal account, it needs to be commercial?? He says what hitch is on truck. Told him hitch came on truck when new and fifth wheel hitch. He said CANNOT insure under commercial policy because of fifth wheel hitch??
WTF

Foremost Ins.
Same carrier as Good Sam but, $100 a year cheaper.
USAA member since 1982. Had horrible service in 2015 on a $115K water loss. They never sent an adjuster out, lost photos/paperwork (several times) and the final straw was when I got a collection call, 6 months later from the USAA Preferred Vendor!

Did they ever give you a reason for the rate increase?
As far as the commercial insurance for your F350, Erie insurance asked quite a few questions when I purchased my 2015 Mercedes Sprinter van. Mine is a passenger van not a cargo. They initially wanted to make me get a commercial insurance policy for it, but after some discussion, they agreed that the passenger van (which actually uses car, not truck plates on it here in PA), would fit under our standard policy. A few days later, I get a call from my local agent asking me if I had intended to use my passenger van for Uber or Lyft services. Which, of course, the answer is no. I wonder if they have so many people using vehicles for purposes other than personal transportation now that they are overly cautions?

One huge consideration for my going with USAA is exactly the opposite. 2-3 years ago my daughter/husband (USAA) had a kitchen water pipe break - flooding the entire downstairs. USAA was on it. They put them up in an apartment (for a month) while they replaced all floors, appliances, furniture; repaired all the lower walls and trim work/ complete paint job. IN MY OPINION they did much more than I would have expected.
