Interior Stair Replacement

I finally got around to replacing the carpeted steps to the front bedroom with open stair threads. Now our footwear has a home other than in front of the door.

The original steps:


After removing original steps and cleaning up the mess that was under the steps:


Risers anchored to the floor and the rear wall finished.


With the open stair threads installed:

Great job. Makes a big difference in the look, a bit more modern.

IMO for what it's worth the play bench makes it worth all the effort!!
