Inverter High Pitch Sound

We keep getting intermittent high pitch sound coming from inverter. Everything working fine but the high frequency sound drives us crazy. Anyone know what is the cause or repair, other than replace?

Inverter or Converter? If it's the Converter it's probably the cooling fan.

My husband says inverter. It sounds like a turbo. It is quiet and then progresses to a high frequency sound then back down to normal.
